Terms of Service

By accessing or using QRSync ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

QRSync is a QR code generation service that allows you to:

• Create static and dynamic QR codes
• Customize QR code appearance (colors, logos)
• Track scan analytics for dynamic QR codes
• Manage and update dynamic QR code destinations

QRSync is available via free and paid subscription tiers.

2. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to use QRSync.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not create more than one account per person.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Free and Paid Plans

QRSync offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free: No payment required. Limited to 1 dynamic QR code and 50 scans per month.
• Essential: $0.99/month or $10.00/year.
• Pro: $2.49/month or $25.00/year.
• Business: $9.99/month or $100.00/year.
• Enterprise: $19.99/month or $190.00/year.

Feature limits and inclusions for each plan are described on our Pricing page. Plans are subject to change with 30 days notice.

4. Auto-Renewal and Billing

PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You will be charged the subscription fee at the beginning of each billing period. All charges are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

5. Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• You will retain access to paid features until your billing period ends.
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan.
• Dynamic QR codes exceeding Free plan limits will be paused.

6. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial billing periods.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@qrsync.io within 7 days of the charge.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use QRSync to:

• Encode illegal content in QR codes
• Distribute spam, phishing links, or malware
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without written permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

QRSync reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

• QRSync owns the platform, software, branding, and all associated intellectual property.
• You retain ownership of the content you encode in QR codes.
• You grant QRSync a limited, non-exclusive license to process and display your content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.
• QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.

9. Privacy

Your use of QRSync is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. QRSync does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• QR codes will scan correctly on all devices or in all conditions
• Dynamic QR code redirects will have zero downtime

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QRSYNC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

QRSync's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to QRSync in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

• QRSync may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms.
• Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately.
• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Dispute Resolution, and Intellectual Property) shall survive.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state and federal courts located in New York.

14. DMCA / Copyright

You must not use QR codes to link to or distribute content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content accessible through QRSync infringes your copyright, please report it to support@qrsync.io.

15. Modification of Terms

QRSync may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days advance notice of material changes via email and by posting the updated Terms on this page.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes to subscription terms will be separately notified.
